Dropbox - Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

This month's Wired magazine mentioned Dropbox, which gives you
2GB of free storage space online. I've used it for a week and think it's the best
thing since sliced bread because:
1. It creates a folder on your local hard disk, so access to your files is as fast as anything on your disk - it's not
dependent on online access speeds.
2. It then SYNCS your local Dropbox files with the ones on the
web, so you have access to your files even offline. Once you're
back online, it automatically syncs.
3. You have access to your files on any computer anywhere (via their
website), including on iPhones or any other mobile device. (An
iPhone app is in the approval process, but you can just go to
the website via Safari.)
4. If you have home and work computers, you install it on both and
always have instant access to the files.
5. You can share a folder with someone so that you both have access everywhere.

So, basically, it's like a wireless flash drive that is available everywhere.
How cool is that?

Here's how to get it:

Other uses:
1. Have all your computers use the same address book and calendar
by putting the files in your Dropbox folder: http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Sync_Your_Life_With_Dropbox
2. Put your iTunes library in your Dropbox folder so that it is updated
on home and work computers (you also need to put your music on both)
