How to Stop Jumpy Mouse Movements on Vista Laptops

1. Go to Start Button, Control panel, Mouse
2. Go to Advanced tab; Click on "advanced feature settings" button
3. Click on "Pointer Speed and Tapping Settings" settings button on lower right
4. Click on Tapping Settings button
5. Check box that says "disable tapping during key input"

Hibernate option disappears in Vista - Get it back

Click the start button and type "powercfg.exe /hibernate on" in the command/search box and hit control-shift-enter.
Voila, it's back.
